Our friends in the Sprouts and Treehouse classes have been very busy over the past several weeks. They have worked their core moving logs, building shelters, climbing, swinging and running! They have had big appetites and growing! You might find that clothes and shoes that fit a mere two months ago are suddenly too small! It's been a busy few weeks and I'm back from my "staycation". My youngest is headed to public school this year, so I wanted to make sure I had some quality time with her, as well as my son, a soon-to-be third grader! It's hard to believe that my youngest has been at the farm since she was a month old! My short car ride to the farm is about to get very quiet! We have some new Saplings that have joined us and they are getting settled nicely with Ms. Lisa!
The Saplings have enjoyed tending to the herb garden! They like to nibble the varieties of mint and I even had one eat two basil leaves...

We're back from our summer break and are getting back into the swing of things! The children are enjoying all things ocean, including some fun homemade moon sand that is perfect for building sand castles along with many sensory experiences that include their favorite water beads! Sandpaper starfish rubbings, mermaids and some homemade ice cream later in the month round out our curriculum. We always notice after a break that many of friends look taller, perhaps a bit older and we are always happy to welcome back so many smiling faces!
