Monday

AM Snack:  Bananas

Lunch:  Crockpot lasagna bake [pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, fresh chopped parsley]

PM Snack:  Pretzels

Children’s work:  Saplings to harvest Italian parsley from the garden for our crockpot lasagna bake.  Children layer ingredients in crockpots to cook.

 

Tuesday

AM Snack:  Cinnamon cherry swirl yogurt with crunchy granola topping

Lunch:  Bone-broth vegetable soup, fresh baked bread with butter

PM Snack:  Veggie straws

Children’s work:  Mix bread dough, form loaves for baking

 

Wednesday

AM Snack:  Fresh melon

Lunch:  Smoked sausage, roasted sweet potatoes with herbed basmati rice

PM Snack:  Crackers

Children’s work:  chop sausage for roasting, measure rice and water for steaming

 

Thursday

AM Snack:  Dried fruit and air popped popcorn with butter

Lunch:  Smoked ham, carrot slices, homemade sour cream herb dip

PM Snack:  Teacher’s choice

Children’s work:  Peel and slice carrots for lunch, mix herbed sour cream dip

 

Friday

AM Snack:  Grain free granola with almond milk

Lunch:  Egg salad, cucumber slices, chips

PM Snack:  Teacher’s choice

Children’s work:  Slice cucumbers, mash hardboiled eggs with potato masher
