The children were very tired today and are still recovering from the holiday weekend. We enjoyed some great hands-on play and had an early nap this afternoon.
Community: circle songs, read All About Curduroy, The Happy Day, Tell Me Another! Read-Aloud Stories for the Very Young, recognizing our names and friends names, afternoon drums and sing along
Art/Fine Motor: painted using the primary color blue
Pretend: working with tools at the tool bench, cooking in the kitchen, taking care of babies [dressing, bathing, feeding, walking in strollers]Cooking: set table, served friends lunch
Outside: picked cucumbers and yellow squash out of the garden, splash day
Breakfast: peanut butter and banana smoothie, graham crackers
Lunch: turkey chili with beans, buttered wheat bread, orange slices, milk
Snack: stove-top popped popcorn, water
