 In Our Daily Rhythm

This week we finished up our nature placemats.

Kai loves cowboy hats and ropes, Gabrielle and Sophia write together on the chalkboard.

At morning snack, some friends relax and talk while others line up their flakes and raisins . . .

Playdough . . .

We made some birds with a craft kit.

The kids found a small snake in the labyrinth. Good thing Miss Jennifer was a round to handle him–Leslie ran away and Kari looked on.

We made tuna pet treats for our cats Peachy and Aurora. Cole took a couple home for his dog Franklin. Several other children took treats home for their pets, too.

We played a lot with birdseed. PreK had fun using the vacuum to clean up the birdseed from the carpet.

Thanks to Gavin’s family for gluing tracks and more onto the Twos train table. PreK tried it out first as it turns out.

Here are our peanut butter/pinecone bird feeders.

Have you ever painted with peanut butter?

Wacy hauled his brother in for lunch . . .

It was super-windy Thursday afternoon, so we made some plastic bag kites. Lots of fun!

Queso got a new fly mask that even covers his ears. He looks like he has a black cat mask on!

Kai and Anam had fun with the kites!
