My daughter has been attending the school going on her 5th month now. She attended a part-time school when she was 18 months old for a month but it just seemed too difficult on us both... she cried every time I dropped her off and was waiting by the door with tears in her eyes waiting for me to pick her up. I also had to come up with a lunch for her and never really got a clear sense of what she was doing between the tears.
Enter Good Earth School.
I heard about it through another mommy and went to look at their website straight away. We put her on the waitlist sight unseen. What we saw in the pictures and read in the testimonials was more than enough to know we wanted this. We waited like anxious children desperately wanting to be picked for dodgeball. Fortunately for us we only had to wait a few short months to get our daughter to start attending Sapling class 3 days a week. I think we were more excited than my daughter was on the first day and meet and greet. It just seemed too good to be true. They have their own garden! They help make bread! They have animals! They need boots for the muddy days! I want to go to this school and still do... the teachers sing my daughter in the door every morning and brushes her hair and sprays lavender after their nap. Instead of crying because she's ready to leave, my daughter now cries because she has to leave. This is a magical school and place for children and parents alike. I hope my daughter can stay here as long as possible and her brother can join her too in the not so distant future. Thank you Good Earth School for bringing so much fun, imagination and care into our lives. We will never forget you!
