Monday

AM Snack:  Toasted blueberry bagels with butter

Lunch:  Smokey pintos and buttered basmati rice, oven roasted broccoli

PM Snack:  Crackers and raisins

Children’s cooking:  toast bagels and spread butter, measure rice and water, place in rice cookers for lunch

 

Tuesday

AM Snack:  Bananas

Lunch:  Salmon and vegetables with pasta, parmesan cheese and fresh baked bread with butter

PM Snack:  Animal crackers

Children’s cooking:  measure and mix bread ingredients, knead and form bread loaves and load on trays for baking

 

Wednesday

AM Snack:  Tortilla chips and guacamole

Lunch:  Oven roasted potatoes and smoked chicken sausage with apples

PM Snack:  Veggie straws

Children’s cooking:  Wash and dice potatoes, cut and cube sausage for roasting

 

Thursday

AM Snack:  Celery with peanut butter

Lunch:  Egg salad with crackers and carrots

PM Snack:  Pretzels

Children’s cooking:  spread peanut butter on celery sticks, peel eggs, mash and mix

 

Friday

AM Snack:  Whole grain cereal with almond milk

Lunch:  Quinoa with  marinara, French bread crostini

PM Snack:  Trail mix

Children’s cooking:  measure quinoa and water, place in rice cookers for lunch, brush French bread slices with seasoned avocado oil for toasting in oven
