We’re back from our summer break and are getting back into the swing of things! The children are enjoying all things ocean, including some fun homemade moon sand that is perfect for building sand castles along with many sensory experiences that include their favorite water beads! Sandpaper starfish rubbings, mermaids and some homemade ice cream later in the month round out our curriculum. We always notice after a break that many of friends look taller, perhaps a bit older and we are always happy to welcome back so many smiling faces! We continue to receive pictures of our farm school friends on their travels! This week we’re sharing our Treehouse friend, Evan, and his picture from the Grand Cayman Islands! Evan is reportedly having a great time!
Chalkboard drawings are enjoyed by all the children. The Saplings get to look at a beautiful ocean themed mobile hand made by Ms. Lisa. She needle felted sea creatures. Very fun!
