Summer Camp at a Glance

Monday-Friday:

  • Weekly Sessions $285/per week

Hours:

  • 7:15 am – 5:15 pm

Ages:
5-8 years old

Note: Tuition for all classrooms includes supply fees, and lunch + one snack (half day schedules) or lunch + two snacks (regular and extended schedules).

Sibling Discount: 10% off total tuition for families with more than one child simultaneously enrolled in any of the programs.

Summer Camp: Ages 5 - 8 years

Admission Requirements: Children must be 5 years of age by the end of May and no older than 8 years of age to attend camp. Our camp program is geared toward children entering Kindergarten through second grade, age 8. All children will need a completed copy of our Admission Form, Health Statement and a copy of current immunizations or the state approved waiver no later than one week prior to camp start date.

What to Bring: Campers must bring a change of clothes, a towel, sunscreen (or protective clothing and hat) and a water bottle daily. Closed toed shoes are recommended and flip-flops or similar sandals are not permitted. We ask that campers adhere to our school “character-free” policy. The policy requests that all bags, clothing, shoes, water bottles, books/journals, etc. be free of characters.

Behavior Policy: The Good Earth Farm Camp‘s first priority is the safety of your child. We strive to create a healthy, positive environment where campers can feel safe and supported. The following behaviors will not be tolerated.

  • Damage of Property
  • Infliction of any sort of bodily harm to oneself or another
  • Participation in any type of Bullying (Physical, Verbal, Emotional)
  • Crude, harsh or inappropriate language
  • Any behavior representing a danger to the safety of oneself, other campers or staff
  • Repercussions for any of the above actions, may include, but is not limited to, immediate dismissal from camp without financial reimbursement.

Food: Campers are welcome to bring healthy snacks from home in addition to the snacks and lunch we provide, however, junk food will not be permitted. Children requiring a special diet should make arrangements with school director to bring their own snacks and lunch as the school has limited ability to make dietary modifications. Menus are emailed out weekly.

Camp Details: Campers will be a larger group setting with opportunities for both smaller and larger group work. Camp is Media Free! No cell phones, iPods, portable game devices, etc. will be permitted during camp. Additionally, please refrain from bringing personal toys or games.

8:00 – 8:45 AM Outdoor play, morning snack prep
8:45 – 9:15 AM Farm chores (feed animals, collect eggs, water orchard & garden beds)
9:15 – 9:45 AM Wash hands, morning snack
9:45 – 10:00 AM Assist with lunch prep
10:00  – 12:00 PM Morning program based on camp theme
12:00 – 12:45 PM Lunch
12:45 – 1:00 PM Kitchen clean up
1:00 – 1:30 PM Quiet rest time [reading, meditation, yoga]
1:30 – 3:30 PM Afternoon program based on camp theme
3:30 – 3:45 PM Farm Chores, outdoor clean-up
3:45 – 5:15 PM Afternoon snack and closing chores (mixed age)

Reservations: All tuition is due in full at the time of reservation and is non-refundable.  Please return the attached form and payment to secure your child’s space—space is limited! A sibling discount of 10% applies to those families with more than one child enrolled at our camp or school.
