Program Description:

Our Good Earth Farm School Afterschool Program is a Lifeways and Waldorf-inspired class for students ages 5-12 years that are enrolled in a K-5th grade equivalent program. By design, it is a complement to a child’s primary learning program by offering transportation to Good Earth Farm School (from Pleasant Hill, Block House,Valor Elementary Schools), snack, homework support, and an opportunity for nature-based play.

The intent of the class is to be developmentally appropriate and free of electronic devices after learning that has taken place at home or in school. With a small group size, the Afterschool Program is an opportunity for students to have a recurring social connection and for home-schooling parents to have a needed respite from leading their child’s education during the year.

This program buses students who attend Pleasant Hill, Block House, and Valor Elementary schools. For children not enrolled at these elementary schools, parents are also welcome to drop off their child at Good Earth Farm school after elementary schools let out until the program ends at 5:15 pm.
