Monday

AM Snack:  Banana smoothie [bananas, vanilla, almond milk]

Lunch:  Deli platter [Smoked turkey, cucumbers, crackers, yogurt dip]

PM Snack:  Veggie straws

Children’s work:  Slice cucumbers, mix dip

 

Tuesday

AM Snack:  Waffles with peanut butter & honey

Lunch:  Pasta salad [cheddar cheese, tomatoes, carrots, Italian parsley, home vinaigrette]

PM Snack:  Animal crackers

Children’s work:  Harvest Italian parsley, slice carrots for salad, make vinaigrette

 

Wednesday

AM Snack:  Colby Jack cheese sticks, fresh melon

Lunch:  Stir fry vegetables, egg and rice bowls

PM Snack:  Pretzels

Children’s work:  Measure water and rice for steamers

 

Thursday

AM Snack:  Pineapple and toast with butter

Lunch:  Flatbread rollups [herbed cream cheese, cucumber, carrots]

PM Snack:  Apples

Children’s work:  Spread flatbread with cream cheese/veggie mixture and roll

 

Friday

AM Snack:  Strawberry yogurt [strawberry preserves, plain yogurt, vanilla], toasted waffles

Lunch:  Taco bowls [pintos, tortilla chips, guacamole]

PM Snack:  Granola bars

Children’s work:  Mash avocadoes to make guacamole
