I found this blog post to be very helpful and reassuring. We all struggle with how and when to set boundaries for our children, and too often, I see children “running the show” because their needs have somehow become more important or attention-getting than those of anyone else around them. Consider that maybe the child acting out is really in search of clarity, and a soft but loving boundary to bump against!
