We are so happy to welcome back all of our friends in the Saplings room! The children are excited to be reunited with their farm friends! The Artic air and freezing temps have kept us inside a bit more.
We’re learning about fire and ice this month. We’ll be cracking colored ice looking for frozen treasures as well as cuddling up with a hot water bottle to stay warm! We’re learning a finger play about icicles that I’m sure you will hear repeated at home!
I’m a frozen icicle, melting in the sun
(Dangle fingers back and forth)
First I start to melt, then I start to run
(Wiggle fingers)
Drip, drip, drip, drip
Melting can be fun!
(Drop hands to floor and spread across floor to make a puddle)
