Hello! We are going to take our chances and proceed with the Stone Soup Supper tomorrow night, rain or shine. A few notes about the event…
~If the whether is clear by 5:30, we’ll hold the event outside as planned. Bring chairs or tarps to sit on.
~If it is raining, we’ll hold the event inside, situated by classroom. We will split the Saplings or Treehouse class out and let them meet and eat in the community space at the Market. We’ll seat the children at tables to eat, but adults should plan on sitting Indian style or should bring chairs for inside.
~Know that the farm will be wet and muddy, depending on how much rain we get tomorrow. Please wear shoes or boots that you don’t mind getting a little soiled.
~We’ll remove our shoes prior to entering the school building to cut down on clean-up.
~If you are making soup, please provide a ladle.
~Please label all pots, ladles, platters, and dishes from home.
~We would really appreciate additional parent volunteers helping with clean-up tomorrow night…taking out trashing, washing dishes, straightening classrooms, etc.
Rain or shine, we’ll have a good time as a community, just like the kids do!
