We have settled into our rhythm this week and the children are hard at work–playing, singing, cooking, collecting acorns and enjoying our new friends in the Kinder/First class, Treehouse and Saplings.
Little hands have been busy preparing snacks and lunch, wet felting and painting. Treehouse enjoyed yoga with Ms. Ruxi on Tuesday and Kinder/First
had yoga with Ms. Lesley this afternoon.
Hearty appetites abound and everyone enjoyed the lentils with kale, brown rice and tamari. Homemade crockpot applesauce filled the air with the scent of Autumn. Many Treehouse friends requested that recipes be given to their parents so that this week’s menu may be recreated at home.
Things feel right. The children can sense the change of season and daylight. Life is good.
