Tuesday

AM:  pear and apple slices, cheddar cheese cubes (children slice apples and cheddar cheese cubes)

Lunch:  homemade split pea and ham soup, homemade bread w/ organic butter

PM:  popcorn

Wednesday

AM:  oatmeal w/ brown sugar and cinnamon

(children help peel, dice apples to place in crockpot for homemade applesauce tomorrow!)

Lunch:  turkey-rice-spinach casserole

PM:  veggie chips

Thursday

AM:  homemade applesauce, graham crackers

Lunch:  guacamole, homemade bean dip, tortilla chips (children mash avocado with teachers)

PM:  pretzels

Friday

AM:  multigrain toast and tortillas with organic butter, sugar, and cinnamon (children toast and use toast tongs)

Lunch:  hummus, organic carrots, crackers, and string cheese

PM:  granola and fig bars
