Monday
AM: organic vanilla yogurt, organic animal crackers
Lunch: potato soup (organic potatoes, olive oil, onions, organic celery, organic chicken stock, organic parsley), homemade organic bread w/ organic peanut butter
PM: tuna salad, nut thin crackrs
Tuesday
AM: kid-toasted flour tortillas w/ almond butter and jam
Lunch: turkey rice stew (homemade turkey bone broth, shredded turkey, basmati rice, organic carrots, organic kale, onions)
PM: organic popcorn, mozzarella string cheese
Wednesday
AM: organic apples slices
Lunch: homemade organic pizza crust topped w/ organic spinach, organic tomato sauce, feta and mozzarella cheese; organic Romaine lettuce w/ homemade lemon vinaigrette
PM: pretzels and peanuts
Thursday
AM: hot chamomile tea w/ honey, Schumann’s Bakehaus apple bran muffins
Lunch: black bean and beef picadillo (black beans, grass fed local ground beef, organic potatoes, organic tomato sauce), organic tortilla chips
PM: bananas
Friday
AM: rice cereal w/ organic milk
Lunch: pasta carbonara (local pasta from Sassy Pea Market, nitrite/nitrate free bacon, local organic eggs, olive oil, garlic) w/ organic broccoli
PM: snack mix: organic raisins, smoked almonds, pretzels
Our teachers may also choose: hard-boiled local organic eggs, roasted shredded local organic chicken, organic baby spinach, honey mustard dressing, cherry tomatoes, local honey, almond butter, veggie crudite (red pepper strips, broccoli, organic carrots, organic celery), Longhorn dip, deli ham, rice crackers, dark chocolate
