Thanks to our guest chef Kristin Kemp, Thomas, and Emily for the beautiful lunch! We appreciate your time and the kids were touched. Thanks for the beautiful sunflowers, Ballard family! Happy birthday to Conner!
Our Treehouse friends have had fun putting their thoughts onto...concrete! (with sidewalk chalk). We are seeing amazing drawings on the back patio that we have not seen some of the same children produce on paper. Fun!
Being a "big cheese" in the Treehouse comes with responsibilities around school and the expectation that one will help nurture our younger friends. A new Treehouse friend loved helping a younger friend finish eating her breakfast yogurt. She even dabbed the corner of the little girl's mouth with a cloth napkin!
Sand, stumps, painting. All have a place in our attempts to develop...
We found a snail in the shell (atop dog crate in pic) and volunteer lettuce for the rabbits. The kids love the garbage truck, whose driver beeps the horn at us every Wednesday! All of the Treehouse children want you to know that they want a candle snuffer. The one pictured in today's blog is about $4 at IKEA.
