Friday the Seedlings and Sprouts enjoyed water play in the gentle morning sun. Our home life areas are popular places where children mimic the purposeful work they see done by the adults in their lives. The kinder lyre has been lulling children in the Treehouse to sleep with its pentatonic scale and barely audible sounds. A basket of pebbles and a few shapes drawn on paper become a fascinating focused activity for a little person for whom the vast choices in the busy classroom are a bit overwhelming on a particular day.
