This November the “farm school” turned 4! It’s hard to believe that we’ve been at the farm that long. It’s seems like just yesterday (well, maybe not yesterday) we transitioned from Leslie’s home with 12 kiddos to the new school on Crystal Falls Parkway!
November is the month of annual check ups, renewals of permits, etc. I tell you this because your child may have come home telling of tales of screaming pigs, goats running wild and the animal doctor coming for a visit! Treehouse friends thought it was pretty funny that Sonny and Lucy (the pigs) had to have their toes trimmed. Yep….all in a days’ work at farm school. Luckily it was not Ms. Janie & Mr. Rob that did the trimming!
One of friends found an animal jaw bone (much to his friends’ envy), a friend checked for eggs for her first time ever and we enjoyed delicious crockpot apple pear sauce. It was a great week! Thank you for sharing your kiddos with us! We love each one of them dearly.
