 In Weekly Meal Plan

Monday

AM:  cheddar cheese cubes and apple slices (children help slice apples and cheese)

Lunch:  baked cheese tortellini in pesto (school-grown basil, Thanks, Cheryl McLaurin for preparing the pesto!)

PM:  fig bar

Tuesday

AM:  cucumbers and homemade ranch dip (children slice cucumbers)

Lunch:  potato soup, homemade bread with butter (children knead/shape bread)

PM:  fruit leather

Wednesday

AM:  wheat toast with butter (children help toast bread, wooden toast tongs)

Lunch:  vanilla yogurt, granola, banana

PM:  string cheese

Thursday

AM:  popcorn with butter (children help use hot air popper)

Lunch:  cheese quesadilla, guacamole (children help make guacamole)

PM:  orange

Friday

AM:  buttered rice with honey, raisins, cinnamon, and almond milk (children help load rice cookers)

Lunch:  ham sandwich, baby carrots (children help make sandwiches)

PM:  granola bar
