Monday

AM:  peanut butter on crackers (children help spread peanut butter)

Lunch:  Mexican lasagna (corn tortillas, organic tomatoes, organic onion, pinto beans, Colby-Jack cheese)

PM:  banana

Tuesday

AM:  popcorn with organic butter, almonds (children help pop popcorn)

Lunch:  split pea/ham soup or potato soup (depending on class), homemade organic bread sticks (children help shape bread in to sticks)

PM:  veggie straws

Wednesday

AM:  banana smoothies (bananas, almond milk, honey)

Lunch:  chicken and vegetables over rice (chicken thighs, organic mixed vegetables, organic rice, soy sauce)…(children help make rice in rice cookers)

PM:  popcorn

Thursday

AM:  toasted English muffin with butter, cinnamon/sugar (children help toast muffins and spread butter, use toast tongs)

Lunch:  migas (crispy corn tortillas, organic eggs, butter)

PM:  string cheese

Friday

AM:  homemade apple crisp

Lunch:  peanut butter and organic jelly on multigrain bread, cucumber slices (children slice cucumbers)

PM:  snack mix (pretzels, popcorn, veggie chips)
