Monday

AM:  organic baby carrots, popcorn (children help pop popcorn)

Lunch:  organic spaghetti with homemade meat sauce (organic spinach, tomatoes, organic ground  beef)

PM:  bananas

Tuesday

AM:  homemade spiced/roasted pecans and almonds, apple slices (children help slice apples)

Lunch:  tomato/basil/rice soup (tomatoes, organic onions, school-grown basil, organic rice), homemade organic bread (children make bread)

PM:  pretzels

Wednesday

AM:  homemade energy balls (oatmeal, organic honey, coconut, peanut butter)

Lunch:  turkey sandwiches, organic carrots and cucumber slices (children slice cucumbers)

PM:  fig bars

Thursday

AM:  blueberry bagels w/ cream cheese (children help toast bagels using wooden toast tongs)

Lunch:  homemade chili (pinto beans, potatoes, onion, tomatoes) w/ shredded cheese, crackers

PM:  tortilla chips

Friday

AM:  banana chips, string cheese

Lunch:  cheese quesadillas (corn tortillas, Colby-Jack cheese), guacamole (children mash avocado, mix guacamole)

PM:  veggie straws
