In the images to follow, you’ll see:
•infants on walks, in both stroller and wagon. Our donkey Abby really checked them out last week!
•laundry on a line looking beautiful in the (nearly) Autumn wind
•several parents installed our new sand box on the recent work day, and the kids have been loving it!
•another set if parents cleaned up the fairy forest, hanging ribbons in the trees and placing gems in the forest. The kids have had a blast finding the gems, and waiting for the fairies and gnomes to hide them in the moonlight for us to find the next morning!
•we’ve been talking about apples thus week: painting with red, stamping with a real apple, finding the star in a cut apple, and peeling/cutting apples to make applesauce.
•Andrea established our healing baskets, complete with colored washcloths (to camouflage blood), calendula salve, arnica gel, bandages, and more. We have a basket for upstairs and downstairs.
Thank you, again, to all of our families who helped out at the first parent work day of the year!
