Monday

AM:  apple slices with peanut butter (children help cut apples:  knives and rotary cutters)

Lunch:  baked organic penne pasta and spinach with homemade organic tomato/roasted red pepper/basil cream sauce, Parmesan cheese

PM:  pretzels

Tuesday

AM:  warm baked rice pudding (organic rice, almond milk, organic sugar, organic eggs, vanilla)

Lunch:  tomato rice soup with chicken, homemade organic bread sticks (children shape bread)

PM:  banana

Wednesday

AM:  cheddar cheese cubes, cucumber slices (children help slice cucumbers)

Lunch:  homemade refried beans, rice, guacamole, tortilla chips (children help measure rice/start rice cookers)

PM:  oatmeal cookies

Thursday

AM:  bagels with butter (children help toast bagels)

Lunch:  organic carrots w/ homemade ranch dip, string cheese, crackers

PM:  mandarin orange

Friday

AM:  avocado spread on toast (children help mash avocado and make toast)

Lunch:  organic vanilla yogurt, apple slices, graham crackers

PM:  fruit leather
